The Malter and Murry homes host multiple weddings as Rev Harter conducts ceremonies for John Charles Ward and Mary V. Wright. Chas Rathtun and Willie Murry. Henry Apt and Agnes Cook. Clifton Tucker and Clara Rolander. Fredrick Knause and V Crystal Kerney. Everett Gibson and Lena Robertson. Thomas James and Permelia Hox. Rev C R Garver and Rev Albert Shepherd oversee others among about 50 guests. the Enterprise extends congratulations.
The Enterprise reports a remarkable Christmas gift left at Marshal Croop’s home a bouncing boy who will be a beloved addition. The present is a grand piano for the church greatly valued by the pastor and congregation.
Three young men from Rocky Ford spent Christmas Day in Swink and returned home to celebrate. One discarded a sugar sample, beer spilled and damaged a window at a pop corn stand near the State Bank corner. A special officer detained them, they faced a short meditation and paid for the damage before being allowed to go home.
A Rocky Ford family mourns as Loren Clair, age one, dies from complications of whooping cough. Funeral services were held at the Thomas home opposite Washington school on Christmas day, conducted by Rev. S C Green.

Col Henry Randolph Holbrook died at St Marys Hospital Pueblo after a stroke. The longtime valley developer and canal builder founded the Laguna Holbrook canal and helped Pueblo growth, known for his generous quiet charity and stainless reputation. Funeral held at Pueblo First Presbyterian Church with burial at Roselawn.
Rocky Ford The City Library Board has obtained a quit claim deed from the last Rocky Ford Town and Investment Co board to lease a 75 foot strip in City Park for the Carnegie library building. Also received are two favorable letters from Andrew Carnegie secured in the past ten days.
The Enterprise reports an invitation from Denver to join the Confidence Club of Colorado and sign a pledge. Members commit to cheerful optimism to curb alarm and restore public confidence, aligning with Mrs. Eddy’s religious influence.
The Civic Improvement department of the Woman's Club awarded 36 prizes to children whose back yards and alleys were kept clean during the past summer. Harshaw S Twelfth St Stovall N Fifth St Wilson Swink Ave each received $1. The committee found no awards where tin cans or rubbish were present. The group urges further townwide effort for next year and urges placing barrels in alleys. The Ladies Missionary Circle of the Baptist church will hold its annual meeting Monday at 2 30 with election of officers. Mrs Dobbs and Mrs Craig request full attendance.
