WETS VERSUS DAYS IN LOCAL OPTION RACES
The local option issue dominated Tuesday elections with strong Anti-Saloon League gains. Illinois and Michigan shows notable prohibition wins. In this state the wets carried mining areas while dries advanced in farming regions. In five nearby towns Ordway and Sugar City went dry, Holly Lamar and Las Animas stayed wet by 16 to 43 vote margins.

Reception to Probationers at Methodist Church

Secretary Hall's fate was deferred again, grounds committee to consult Buffalo Jones over hybrid animal exhibit, and a contract with A L Pepper for grounds use was approved. A grounds moving committee and a premium list revision directive were set, with adjournment to April 25.
