Levi H Tower died at his home three miles west of the city after a two week illness. He was born June 8 1846 in Ohio county Indiana and died July 1 1919. He married Alice A Geeding January 9 1868 and they had seven children. He served in Co K 136th Indiana Infantry and joined the Christian church at about nineteen. Funeral at Shiloh church and interment in Shiloh cemetery referenced in the obituary.
