Dual refueling and supply operation on underway carrier
Myers and allies conducted a first night operation using dual methods to refuel and resupply the underway aircraft carrier USS Emerpuxe in the South China Sea darkness. The carrier took 1008 fuel from USS Sacramenta via highline while Sacramento transferred supplies by helicopter, a coordinated, high-risk probe amid two ships alongside. Sioux County seniors plan a noon picnic on Tuesday Sept 14 at Sioux Center Central Park with attendees urged to bring food and service items.
