Koele’s 1970 Plymouth suffered $100 damage while Bolkema’s vehicle sustained $10 damage. Larchwood police charged Bolkema with an improper turn.

Wilewina Sitck of Rock Valley was in a two car collision Friday morning on Highway 18 when her car struck the rear of a vehicle driven by Kay Breed of Inwood. Estimated damages were 700 for Breed and 800 for Blick. Blick was charged with failure to have her car under control.

Steer In Road Crash Dodges Renault In Iowa
A 1000 pound steer darted onto Prairie Creek Road south of Ireton causing Don Kieln of Rock Valley to overturn his Renault after hitting the animal. Both Kieln and passenger Ed De Haas escaped serious injury as the car was wrecked and the steer’s owner is Jim McNally of LeMars.
