Rash of Minor Accidents Reported in Rock Valley
Rock Valley Police report a four day stretch with four minor accidents and no injuries. Vehicles driven by James Driesen and Ivor Dearborn sustained $500 and $200 in damages respectively, Dearborn cited for failure to yield. Second incident involved John Witte and J Hardan Van Voorst with Van Voorst backing from a curb. damages about $500 to Van Voorst and $100 to Witte. Van Voorst ticketed for failure to yield. Third collision involved Jean Vanden Top and Atie Huyser on Main Street. Vanden Top’s Pontiac about $? in damages and Huyser’s Torino $100. Vanden Top cited for failure to yield. Fourth accident at Main and Highway 18A involved George Friedrichsen and Carl Ebert. Friedrichsen’s 1948 car about $250 damaged and Ebert’s 1966 Chevelle similar. Friedrichsen cited for failure to yield after stopping at a stop sign.
