MS Appeal Opens May During Mother’s Day Campaign
The 1972 Multiple Sclerosis appeal starts on Mother's Day to fund NW Iowa Chapter patient services and education and support research. Rock Valley area chair Tony DeDey leads a door to door Pass the Envelope drive with a high focus on community fundraising. Sixty percent stays for local services and education, forty percent supports research. The effort echoes Mother’s Day and Father’s Day as MS typically affects people aged 20 to 40, harming nerves and motor functions.
