New Magistrates Take Over Iowa JP Courts
J J Hoogendoorn of Rock Valley and Hawarden Mayor Harlan Hummel and Orange City attorney Robert Huibregtse will oversee Iowa minor court duties as a new magistrate system replaces the old J P courts. Sioux County will have two magistrates serving the area. A $275 cash drawing offers a prize if the winner is in town Thursday night at 8 30 p m in participating stores. Last week’s winner Bernard Vant Hof was not in town.
