George Tear wounded in Ashton break-in at Cedar Cabin
Sibley law officers shot burglary suspect Charles Tear 30 after a break-in at the Cedar Cabin in Ashton. Sheriff Bob Rolfes and Deputy Otis Smith responded just after midnight. Tear was wounded in the groin while attempting to escape and taken to Osceola Community Hospital. charges of breaking and entering and assault with intent to do great bodily harm were to be filed.
