School District Financial Report for Dec 31 1967

Achterhof to Lead Buffalo Valley District Scout Office

L W Achterhof is elected District Committee Chairman of the Buffalo Valley District within the Prairie Gold Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America and will assume duties this month. The district spans Plymouth, Sioux, and O Brien Counties with six districts in the council. 56 units serve 1694 scouts. Other new officers include Orange City officials and a range of committee chairs. Also noted are Census Bureau tenure data plans for January in the Sioux City area, and a local amaryllis display by Miss Gertrude Vaughn of Logan with a giant nine-bloom flower.
