Dick Havelaars to celebrate 45th wedding date
Mr and Mrs Dick Havelaar of Beresford celebrate their 45th wedding anniversary with an Open House on Sunday July 9 from 2 to 7 PM at the home of Gerrit Havelaar three and a half miles west of Hudson South Dakota. Hosted by their children Gerrit Hudson Marion Bossier City Cornelius Canion Mrs Harvey Brevik Monticello Mrs Walter Vister Lennox Mrs Allen Carlson Omaha Mrs Kenneth Olson Volga and Mr Delbert Duncan Sioux Falls. The Havelaars were married January 9 1921 in Inwood and have farmed near Inwood Scotland 5 D and Lyudson 8 D. They moved to Union County State Park south of Beresford in 1951. They have 2 grandchildren and one great grandson. No gifts requested.
