St Marys Guild Christmas Plans and Family News
The St Marys Guild met in the church hall on Wednesday December 1 with Circle No 4 in charge. They sang carols and discussed the DCCW meeting and a Rosary reading circle. Plans were made for the January officers visit and for the Children’s Christmas program the Sunday before Christmas, preceded by a 5 30 family dinner. Christmas Day guests included the Wissinks and their extended family totaling about 30. Schmidt family Christmas gathering at the Clarence Schmidt home in Worthington was also noted. Visitation by Tim Ver Beek of Rack Rapids to the De Jonge home occurred. Tim Moore is expected home from Denver, and the Moore family will spend about ten days with the parents. Additional Christmas Day guests include the Bensons and the Vagtaveens and John Collenbaugh families. Capt Gary Easton has been transferred to Blytheville Arkansas Air Force Base and the family moved this Tuesday, as they will not join the family group this year.
