Meteorite sighting and farm find linked to Smithsonian study
Glenn Dailey of Ruta Rolfe reported a black red stone found on a Pocahontas County farm by his son Dick Dailey. A meteor event tracked Oct 22 by seven-state Teor recovery network from a camera station in Lincola Nebraska led to the object now studied by the Smithsonian Institution's Astrophysical Observatory as a possible fragment of the fallen meteorite from the Parahoutas County area.
