Rites Held For Mrs. F. Dykstra of Doon
Funeral services for Mrs. Frank Dykstra 77 of Doon were held Friday at 1:30 p.m. in the Christian Reformed church with Rev. Gerald Ooseween officiating. Burial followed in Doon Cemetery. Mrs. Dykstra, born May 23, 1891 in Sioux Center, died Tuesday December 3 at a Sioux Falls hospital. She is survived by her widower, two sons, five daughters, nineteen grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, a mother and five sisters.

Funeral services were held for Mig Anna Sullivan 80 of Alvord at Sacred Heart Church with Rev Jerome Loutsch officiating. Burial followed at the church cemetery under Pork Funeral Home of Rock Valley. Rosary was recited Monday night. Sullivan died December 4 at Rock Rapids hospital after a long illness. She was born February 17, 1888 in Rock Valley and worked in Sioux City 1914 1932 and taught in Alvord five years. Survived by two brothers Robert and John and sister Clara, all of Alvard, plus two nephews and a niece.
