Fifty years ago Epworth League circles held a Friday evening social with an excellent committee planned program. Miss Leona Grossenberg Miss Lois Long and Mr Carl Rilund led an entertaining program. A farewell party at the Rebekah Lodge hall Tuesday honored Mr and Mrs B A Walrath preceding their move to Sioux City. Sheldon visitors Josephine Eva Landschults and Elizabeth McGill attended. Frank McGill, a State University Iowa City student, returned for a week’s vacation. Clay McKeegan, attending Iowa State College Ames, also visited at home.

The report covers receipts of 296,075.16, local taxes 259,375.08, state 26,293.93, federal 1,841.93. disbursements 309,276.72 for instruction, maintenance, and transport. bonds 694,000 on June 30, 1965. lunch fund receipts 26,839.41 and disbursements 29,871.98.
