Pioneer Methodist Church reflects Rock Valley roots and growth
The Pioneer Methodist Church in Rock Valley traces its origins to 1879 with Rev. John Bunyan and early services in the Dischlaz School House. The church built its first edifice costing 1,175 dollars, expanded over decades, and the present United Methodist Church arose after a 1964 cornerstone ceremony and a January 1965 first service.
