A 1866 Chevrolet owned by Lawrence Saartman of Rock Valley was stolen last week from the Sioux Center sales barn. Investigating officer had no report on the vehicle Tuesday afternoon. The grey car was low on gas and may have been abandoned in the area.

Two Breakins Reported at Sioux Center Stores
Sioux County sheriff reports two grocery store burglaries in Sioux Center early Saturday. Police encountered two men around 8 30 a m but the suspects eluded capture. Some money taken from each store, details not available.
