Manitoba Legislature debate over four million relief bill and public service strikes

In a Manitoba Assembly session, Gy Gonick opposed a four million relief bill for farmers, urging funds for co operatives and slamming big business. Jorgenson pressed taxes as the real squeeze and the bill passed. The Labor Minister's estimates sparked clashes with Bilton over a right to strike for public workers, with Paulley defending organized rights. The piece also notes long standing ND P persistence and minor dress and prayer debates, including Jean Allard’s turtle neck bid.
