Maple Leaf in Four Seasons Summer Stamp Issue

Ottawa will issue twenty six million stamps depicting a maple leaf in summer on June 16. The six cent stamp, 24 by 40 millimetres, is printed in five colour lithography by Ashton Potter Limited of Toronto. This is the second of four specials designed by Alma Dun of Galetta for Maple Leaf in Four Seasons. The design shows a fledgling maple plant sprouting from earth with two green leaves.
