Three Thousand Eligible To Vote In Weed Referendum
Approximately 2940 Halifax County growers are eligible to vote in the referendum on marketing quotas for flue cured tobacco for the 1947 crop. Voting occurs Friday July 12 under C L Kelly’s guidance. The rule requires two thirds approval to set quotas.
