Judge Denies Green's Suit Against Chief

Two Bad Blazes Raze Buildings in Warrenton

Saymond Snyder and James Edgar Waters escaped a road gang near Murfreesboro Thursday morning and were recaptured Friday morning within five miles. Police chief W G Liverman and Captain Davis of the Jackson Prison Camp reported the men, both with long sentences, spent the night in a swamp after fleeing Lehrman Sand Pit area. A farmer alerted authorities when spotting them on a road. they had been without food or water for about 14 hours.

Nine Millions Made Available For Buggs Island
