State College Hints to Farm Workers
State College home demonstration notes advise rotating freshly laundered towels to extend wear and prevent fabric deterioration. Wash towels before heavy soiling, dilute bleaches and rinse thoroughly to avoid weakening fibers. Drying outdoors in sun whitens towels, bring them in after drying to prevent fraying. Ironing Turkish towels is discouraged as it mats loops and weakens fibers. hand towels may be ironed flat then folded.
