Week Of Parties Ends With Wyche Clark Nuptials

Citys First Beer Garden Opens In South Rosemary
Roanoke businessman L. A. Daniels plans a late week opening for the citys first exclusive beer garden in South Rosemary near the city line. The remodeled building will house a bar tables booths and private rooms with a wide variety of 3.2 beer. Daniels has long been a property owner and plans a thriving venture despite fifteen city merchants already selling beer. James Kelly of St Paul assaulted a policeman and requested jail to escape his wife.

Sentence Of Stanly Suspended for Roanoke Rapids Robbers
Speedy justice in Halifax Superior Court sentenced three Roanoke Rapids youths for store breaking and larceny. O Neal Stanly received six months with two years good behavior suspend, LeRoy Prince six to eight months, and Flavous Clary six to eight months plus an additional six months in a second case suspended for two years. Stanly turned state’s evidence aiding the prosecution.
