Alma F. Chase 90 laid to rest in Holyoke home
Mrs. Alma F. Chase aged 90, mother of J. T. Chase of this city, was buried today at her home in Holyoke Massachusetts. Mr. Chase, who left Roanoke Rapids last Thursday for Massachusetts, was at the bedside when she died Tuesday morning after a six week illness from a broken hip. She died in Pittsfield Massachusetts. Surviving are two sisters Mia Harry Kimball of Manchester New Hampshire and Mrs. Porterfield of Pittsfield. Mr. Chase, the only surviving son, is expected to return to Roanoke Rapids late next week.
