Legion to Elect At Paul Gall Post October 1929 Officers

The Paul Gall Post of the American Legion will hold its first regular meeting in October to select offers for 1929. Leaders were moved up from December after a Wauekgan state convention decision to build a solid foundation for the new year. Armistice fete plans discussed. no definite decisions yet. If held, it would be the second Armistice event by veterans, following 1921.

Haddon Injured on Duty at Riverdale Mill

H Haddon of 147 Forest Avenue Dalton suffered a foot injury Wednesday while on duty in the Riverdale Lumber Company mill. He was taken to Ingalls Memorial Hospital at Harvey and is expected to return home in a few days.
