Pohlers Injured in Auto Accident on Lincoln Avenue
A. O. Pohlers of 544 Main Street Dalton was struck by a Whippet sedan on Lincoln Avenue opposite the Hahn home Tuesday evening. He suffered a broken shoulder, a break in the small bone of the right leg, and head gashes. Removed to Roseland Community Hospital, he is progressing nicely. The car was driven by two Lansing boys as Pohlers attempted to cross the street.

Dal ton Woman Dies After Paralytic Stroke
Mrs. Thomas George, 56, wife of Thomas George of 418 Washington Street Dalton, died suddenly Sunday morning at home following a paralytic stroke. The remains were taken Sunday evening to Fayetteville, Tennessee, for burial. In addition to her husband, several children are left to mourn her untimely loss.
