Death of Dr. T A Noble in Harvey at 68
Dr. Thomas A Noble died Monday at his Harvey home aged sixty eight after an illness of eight weeks. He led Ingalls Memorial Hospital and served as Thornton Township High School board president for twelve years. He helped found Ingalls Memorial Hospital and was active in medical work for local factories and the Illinois Central Railway. He is survived by his widow Lydia and a son Thomas. Funeral at his home private with memorial services at Thornton Township High School. He was uncle to Lord Beaverbrook.

Edwin C. Golbeck of 13724 Indiana Avenue Riverdale dies Wednesday morning at age 43. He was an architect with Arthur Rich & Co Chicago and owned the Natalie Reich property on Indiana Avenue. He leaves a widow two sons Edmund 4 and Gilbert 1 a sister Hattie Reich and many friends. Funeral Saturday at 2 30 p m at the house with Masonic rites and burial at Mt Greenwood.

About 1132 pupils are registered as the Junior College prepares to open on Monday. Superintendent McVey expects enrollment to reach around 1200. High school graduates may attend. Boy Drowns After Flower-Picking Outing in Chicago River
Nine year old Raymond Neath of 11615 Lafayette Ave vanished Thursday while picking wildflowers with friends near Wentworth Avenue and the Calumet River. Harbor police recovered the body. an inquest was held Friday. He attended Scanlan School and is survived by parents and siblings. Funeral services occurred Monday at 2 pm at the family home with Rev. Logan Hall officiating. Interment followed at Oakland Cemetery in Dolton.

B. J. Steinman of the Commercial Hotel East Chicago Ind a steamfitter was arrested last week for carrying a concealed weapon. He tossed the 38 caliber gun into weeds when the officer approached and was fined 100 dollars plus costs by Judge Fred Caster. He did not pay the fine and was sent to Cook County jail.
