Swanson Resigns From Riverdale Village Board
John E Swanson, trustee, submitted his resignation to the Riverdale Village Board at the regular meeting Tuesday evening September 42. President Edward Kiples and trustees accepted the resignation. Swanson, a specification metallurgist for US Steel, is transferred to Detroit and now commutes home on weekends. He and his wife Virginia reside in Riverdale with their son John who attends Thornton Township Junior College in Harvey.
