Village Board Votes No On Apartments
South Holland zoning commission unanimously recommended denying a petition to amend the zoning ordinance to permit multiple dwellings on a plot east of South Park Ave near 14th St. The village board accepted the recommendation amid large public turnout, with residents opposing denser housing citing charm concerns.
