On Saturday October 14 Ivanhoe Garden Club members planted two flower beds in front of the Ivanhoe Park fieldhouse. About 10:30 a.m. Esther McGovern led the group with Clarence Newgren Willard Alford Len Wahler J Stewart W R Anderson and J Moran. They planted 500 tulip and daffodil bulbs plus peony bushes and iris. Plans were drawn by Willard Alford and approved by the Ivanhoe Park district.
