Gerrit Koster aged 74 of 15721 South Park Ave died after his car struck a tree while turning in front of his home on October 30. Rob ert D Lagestee, 22, of 3530 Ridgerd Lansing, was the other driver and uninjured. Inquest held Oct 31 to Nov 11 at 649 E 162nd St funeral home. Service Station Held Up By Armed Robber
The Duster service station at 162nd and Emerald Ave in South Holland was robbed Monday evening October 23 by an unidentified man. Attendants Roy Ochoa and Wayne Whitehead described a 22 to 25 year old suspect about five feet nine, medium build with dark brown hair and a thin mustache, wearing a dark blue jacket and hatless, who demanded two ten dollar bills and ordered Ochoa to lie down while the robber pistol was displayed.
