Fire at Riverdale Bakery Destroys Car
Two boys attempting to fill a gas tank with a lantern caused a blast that destroyed the car behind Riverdale Bakery. A neighbor pulled the alarm box, bringing four Chicago fire companies to Riverdale. Firefighters arrived after six o'clock to find no further danger as the vehicle had already burned.

Dolton Health Clinic Under Chicago Tuberculosis Institute
Health clinics will again be conducted under the Chicago Tuberculosis Institute at the Dolton Health Center in the village hall. Clinics run 10 to 12 a m on the third Friday each month for those seeking services, with Miss Lehman the relief nurse in Dolton on Tuesdays and Fridays.
