Mrs P Schepel is confined to Presbyterian hospital. Mrs D Vogel is confined to her bed at home with a leg in a cast. Mrs Hester De Young returned home from the hospital to her daughter Mrs Henry Kortenoven. John Pegman is confined to Ingalls hospital due to an infection from a blood clot. Mrs John Spiekhout underwent leg surgery at Ingalls hospital last week. Gerrit Heerema underwent surgery at Roseland Community hospital. Walter De Graff has a set back and remains a patient at Presbyterian Saint Lukes hospital. Dan Jacobs sustained minor injuries in an automobile accident and has returned to Hope college. Bill Snyder broke his leg and three ribs in a hayride accident. Mrs Marie Weld is improving and able to be up and about at home.

A car owned by John Brock of 745 Logan Hammond Indiana was stolen from the Acme Steel parking lot on Friday November 4. Riverdale police say it has not been recovered as of now.

Inhalator Call for Riverdale Man Ends at Hospital
Riverdale squad responded to a 55 year old Clem Weiffen residence on Union Street for a heart attack. He declined oxygen and was transported by ambulance to St Francis Hospital in Blue Island following medical advice. The incident appeared non fatal and medical officials provided care at the scene.
