Mrs Lawrence Lobbe appointed Women and Girls Section Head of the Harvey Memorial YMCA in Dalton. The announcement came from Arthur Christian and Mrs John Pembroke. Lobbe, known as Loretws, has served as program assistant for two years, teaching women swim classes and serving as membership and track chairman. She is a charter member since 1953 and takes over duties from Mrs Kenneth MacAskill who was interim.
The Community Firemen's Association Auxiliary schedules a meeting for Wednesday March 23 at 8 pm at Grandview Park corner 898th and Maynard Chicago. Rose Zumm urges all members to attend. A March 14 discussion covered a card party with hosts Fran Woodward and Cls Wisowaty.
