Miss Ruby Eberhart, recently returned from India, will speak at the Ivanhoe Tabernacle in Riverdale Illinois on Sunday March 20 at 3 p.m. She served five years as secretary and bookkeeper at Allahabad Bible Seminary in North India gaining insight into Indian youth and mission administration. She will answer questions on the current status of Christian missions in India. The public is invited.

Navy Seaman Returns From Mediterranean Tour

Ivanhoe engineer Robert W. Bates 14442 Michigan is elected president of the American Oil Chemists Society and will be installed at the 51st annual meeting in Dallas Texas on April 4. The society has about 2700 members in the United States and 52 foreign countries. Bates works in the Food Research department at Armour & Company and has lived in Ivanhoe for 20 years with wife and two children Nancy and Bob. Dolton Rejuvenates Sanitation Equipment
The Dolton sanitation department completed a winter overhaul of its fleet stored behind the firehouse on Park Avenue. Two new garbage trucks were added under the current administration, while older vehicles were overhauled in the 60 by 140 foot garage built three years ago. The display shows a Ford tractor loader, Willys Jeep, road grader, snow plow, dump trucks, salt spreader, and Leach-packer units with staff and mascot Nig present.
