Tourists Otto Wagner and Hanschmann Return Home from 15000 Mile Auto Trip
Otto Wagner and Robert Hanschmann completed a 15000 mile road journey from Chicago to California and back, visiting Illinois Arkansas Texas California Arizona Nevada California Oregon and Louisiana, noting deserts, irrigation districts, and warm weather. They met friends in San Francisco Eureka Los Angeles Pasadena and New Orleans, and described border liquor in Juarez and Tijuana. The travelers plan to visit again this year.

Night prowlers visited several Riv erdale shops Tuesday night starting at Standard Market on Leyden avenue trying to open the safe and stealing change from a box. Chief Ehlert reports from New Orleans that Weldon Jackson is in custody on multiple charges after a Dalton arrest for forging checks. He allegedly stole eleven cars in four years and was married three times. A diamond ring stolen in Childus Texas was returned to its owner. Two youths in a Ford sedan, Sam Ligotha and Anthony England, were caught with a stolen car from Toledo and will be turned over to authorities. A Ford coupe stolen from William Hart of Hammond was recovered and returned.
