Dalton Village Approves Purchase of Snow Plow
At a special meeting the Dalton Village Board voted to buy a sidewalk snow plow from Austin Manufacturing Co for 350 dollars. The plow attaches to a large truck and can clear drifts up to four feet high, speeding road and sidewalk access during heavy snow. The device is already in operation and expected to repay its cost in the current storm.

Dolton Riverdale and Ivanhoe in Thornton Township have completed their tax book figures. A general committee meeting in the Wm. Maurer office last Monday formed a team to meet the Board of Assessors and press acceptance of the agreed figures.
