Rumor says the Easter Bunny will visit Riverdale Park on April 16 for children age three and up. An egg hunt starts at 4 30 pm with prizes for most eggs and an egg decorating contest. Eggs may be entered from home, judged for humor color and religiosity. The Cole Marion Jetses will perform Beauty and the Beast at the Riverdale Park Fieldhouse after the events.

Thornton Township High seeks transfer of bond funds for facilities

Soldier participates in 101st Airborne Puerto Pine exercise
Army Pvt Richard McKenzie 18 son of Mr and Mrs Glarence J McKenze 445 W 136th Riverdale joins 101st Airborne Division in Exercise Puerto Pine in Puerto Rico. The 16 day training includes the largest peacetime lift to date and will end March 31.
