Firefighters deployed to fight California wildfires return home

Three Rio Rancho Fire Rescue Department members Kevin Canfield Chris Mandeville and Adam Gonzales part of the Wildland Strike Team recently completed a two week deployment in the Fork Complex west of Redding California where about 20 fires burned. Sandoval County crews also deployed to California highlighting the dangerous nature of wildland firefighting and the sacrifices made by responders including recent firefighter deaths in Washington.
