UNM seeks health sciences building in Rio Rancho
Goering says UNM plans a health sciences building as a priority project for 2016. The request totals 19 million dollars from state GO bonds, with higher education GRT funds and voter approval in November 2016 critical. If approved, construction could finish by 2018, expanding health care education and jobs in Sandoval County. The Sandoval County Health Collaborative supports aligning UNM West CNM Rio Rancho and regional training to boost opportunities for local students.
