The mobile kitchen, already seen at Corrales Growers Market, opened Tuesday with about 50 customers and plans to serve up to 1000 daily. Menu includes hamburgers cheesesteaks pasta and green chile stew with Philadelphia touches and New Mexico flair. City Manager Jim Payne and Public Infrastructure Director John Kolessar were among first diners with Kolessar praising the cheesesteak. White, from Philadelphia, previously ran Humphry’s Café in Albuquerque and will soon open a brick and mortar Jim White’s Café near Jefferson and Alameda. No Rio Rancho location expansion planned yet.
Boston Culinary offers a Vince Gill concert package at Santa Ana Star Center for 200 dollars including two top level tickets VIP parking a barbecue dinner for two and VIP lounge access. Only two takers so far due to minimal promotion with last day to purchase tomorrow.
