Casitas zoning OK'd by Council
Rio Rancho officials approved a nine acre zone change adjacent to the golf course for a townhome project by Village Joint Venture. About 42 dwelling units are planned, five per acre, with restrictions on setbacks and building heights to protect mountain views. Some neighbors contest covenants and two story homes. The final plat goes to the Planning and Zoning Commission, with council appeal possible.
