Baseball camp under the Lights with Swihart and Walker
A baseball camp at RRHS stadium progresses Wednesday 6 to 10 p.m. with Red Sox catcher Blake Swihart and Orioles farmhand Josh Walker. ARUS staff, varsity players run drills. $50 fee includes four hours of skills and a meet and greet with Swihart and Walker. Registration opens Sept. 15 at the Rio Rancho Baseball School site and stadium.

Storm Hand Eldorado Its First Loss In A Shootout
In a Friday night high school gridiron thriller at Stormcoming, Cleveland Storm erased a 14-0 Eldorado lead to win 41-34. Nico Papadopoulos fumbled early, but Gabe Ortega and Justice Jackson led the Storm scoring as Eldorado rallied with Jayce Jackson to David Inman touchdowns. Ortega drove Cleveland on an 82-yard final drive, finishing with a 5-yard Nieto TD as the Storm held off Eldorado in a back-and-forth district opener.
