Sunday tunes return to Haynes Park Rio Rancho music series schedule

The City of Rio Rancho invites residents to free Sunday concerts at Haynes Park Rotary Club Barbecue Pavilion from 6:30 to 8 pm June through August. Acts include High Desert Big Band, New Horizons Band, Lite Hawk, The Hit Squad, Roger Jameson & Jaded Heart Band, Little Hawk, Recurve, Darryl Dominguez Band, Rudy Boy Experiment, and Rio Rancho Symphonic Band, with Sept. 6 closing. Performances may change or be canceled for weather.

The 12th annual Pork & Brew festivalruns July 3-5 at Santa Ana Star Center in Rio Rancho. Mayor's Sunday is Friday Picnic at Haynes Park

The 10th annual Mayor's Sunday is Friday fundraiser takes place Sunday Aug. 16 from noon to 4 p.m. at Haynes Park Rio Rancho. The event features family activities including fun jumps quidditch games a knockerball challenge a treasure hunt vendor booths and a pool. Proceeds benefit Rio Rancho youth programs and scholarships coordinated by local clubs and city departments.
