Santa Ana Man Wins 1965 Mustang at Route 66 Festival

Marvin Jaman of Santa Ana Pueblo wins a fully restored 1965 Mustang in a Giant Service Stations drawing held at Albuquerque's Route 66 Festival. A friend called him after his name was announced and he arrived with family to claim the prize. Jamon, a disabled sheet metal worker and silversmith, is married with four children, including two adopted. His wife Laura is Santa Ana tribe. Colleen Goodrich of Giant praises the win for a deserving family.

Community theater and performances schedule update

The Adobe Theater stages Daddy's Dyin Who's Got the Will from June 16 to July 2 with 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday shows and 2 p.m. Sunday matinees. Tickets run 8 dollars general, 6 dollars for students and seniors. Also Meadowlark Senior Center offers 55 Alive on June 5 and Jamboree on June 6. The Rio Ramblers Square Dance Club meets 7 p.m. Tuesdays at VFW Post 5890 Rio Rancho. For info call 892 5086. The Mystery Cafe in Albuquerque presents Murder on the Set on Fridays and Saturdays at La Posada. West Side Story opens June 9 at Kiva Auditorium with Friday and Saturday shows through June 24 and Sunday matinees June 11 and 18. Tickets 9 to 17.50 at Ticketmaster and ACLOA box office.
