Youth news reports the West Side YMCA hosting a Summer Tennis Camp for five to 13 year olds from June 12 to 16. Morning sessions run 8 30 to 10 30 with a 25 dollar fee. For details call 899 8417. Girls Soccer Team Seeks Rio Rancho Paradise Hills Players

The Competitive Duke City U-12 girls soccer team seeks Rio Rancho and Paradise Hills players to prepare for high school and college play while keeping it fun. Call Gary at 896-1416 for info. Cake Decorating Classes Planned for Kids

The Rio Rancho Parks and Rec Department will offer cake decorating classes for kids aged six to nine on July 1 July 15 and August 5. Each one session class costs 15 dollars. Participants will bake and decorate a small cake. For more information call 891-7204.

Rio Rancho AARP chapter marks 25 years

The Rio Rancho AARP chapter will mark its 25th anniversary with a noon luncheon on Wednesday June 25. Mayor Tom Swisstack and state director Pat Jackson will speak. The chapter has funded the Meadowlark Senior Center supported a free tax counseling service and a driving safety course among other efforts. Reservations cost 8.50 and can be made by calling Teresa Forbes at 892-6031.
