Mountain View Middle School eighth grader Johnathon Doran aged 14 organized a 2 mile color dash on May 7 to raise funds for former math and science teacher Janet Melton who battles stage 4 breast cancer. The event drew about 75 people, raised over 1000 dollars, and earned Doran a certificate of recognition from the principal.
