Cougars send three netmen to state tennis meet

Cibola High School will be represented by three players in the state tournament after winning District 3AAAA. Scott Hulick and Ken Turner defend their district title bid from last year while Chris Hood competes in singles. Hood placed second in district finals, and Hulick and Turner advanced by routing Eldorado in the district final. Herrera praised Hood’s performance and noted the team finished 7 2 1 on the year, second in district. Matches begin Friday at Albuquerque Academy with Hood at 8 am and Hulick Turner at 10 am.
