APS sets mid summer date for Rio Rancho referendum
The Albuquerque APS board unanimously set July 28 as the advisory referendum date on a proposed independent Rio Rancho school district. Assistant superintendent Russell Schwers cited expedited processing. Pauline Martinez, not present, favored a September ballot to maximize voter availability.
