ARHS celebrates a college bound softball player who realized her talent in ninth grade, hit her first home run, and plans to study at the University of Sioux Falls while pursuing orthodontics in Colorado. She lists Babe Ruth and Jackie Robinson as dinner companions and recalls a sprinting mis-slide on dirt as her most embarrassing moment.

TCR Productions and Club Rio Rancho present the first Muck Run a 4 mile cross country obstacle race on May 24 at the abandoned Club Rio Rancho north golf course. The event supports Paws and Stripes a nonprofit pairing service dogs with wounded veterans for PTSD and TBI through training and mental health support. Registration is available via Facebook.
